Custom tape and OEM manufacturing

Send us a logo, a size or a job to be done. We work back to a tape specification and quote it.

What custom means here

Custom is the normal case, not a special project

Most orders that leave this factory are not standard items. They are tapes with a width, a colour, an adhesive or a printed design chosen by the customer, which is why the design, coating, printing and slitting steps all sit inside the same company.

A custom order usually starts with something imprecise: a photo of a roll, a description of what the tape has to hold, or a competitor's sample. Our job is to turn that into a written specification, quote it, and then prove it with a sample before the bulk run.

  • Width, thickness, length, colour and adhesive all adjustable
  • Free artwork redrawing from a logo, photo or sketch
  • Cylinder engraving in house, retained for future reorders
  • Digital proof before production, physical sample on request
  • Neutral packing available for distributors and own-brand sellers

What can be changed

Six dimensions of customisation

Any combination of these can be specified on one order, and different items can share a single shipment.

Printing and artwork

Up to six colours, your logo, product name, barcode, handling symbols or a full-coverage design. We redraw the artwork and engrave the cylinder.

Width and thickness

Film is slit to the width you need, and total thickness is selected together with the adhesive so the tape behaves correctly on your dispenser.

Colour

Match a supplied colour reference, or choose from the standard colour range. The colour record stays on file so reorders match.

Adhesive

Water-based acrylic for everyday sealing, hot-melt for higher initial tack, rubber-based for conformability, or a specialist adhesive for a difficult surface.

Construction

BOPP, kraft paper, PVC, film, foam, foil or glass-fibre-reinforced, depending on what the tape has to do.

Packing and labelling

Shrink wrap, carton, pallet or display pack. Neutral cartons and customer labels if the goods are being sold on under your own brand.

Working together

Six steps from enquiry to reorder

The process is designed so that nothing is produced in bulk until you have seen what you are buying.

01

Enquiry

Send the tape type, size, colour, printing, quantity and destination port. A photo or sample shortens this stage considerably.

02

Specification and quotation

We write down a specification, price it and give a lead time. If a cheaper or more suitable construction exists, we will say so.

03

Artwork and proofing

For printed tape, our designers redraw the artwork and send a digital proof. Nothing is engraved until you approve it.

04

Sampling

A pre-production sample lets you test the adhesion, the colour and the print on your own cartons before committing to the bulk order.

05

Bulk production and inspection

Coating, printing, slitting and packing run in sequence with in-line checks, then the finished goods are inspected and packed.

06

Shipment and reorder

We handle the export documents and shipping. Cylinders and colour records stay on file, so a reorder is a repeat rather than a new project.

Practical points

Order size, timing and paperwork

Order size

Minimum quantities depend on the tape and the printing, and are negotiable for a first order. Mixed designs, widths and colours can be combined in one container.

Lead time

Lead time is quoted per order and counts from artwork approval for printed tape. Stock items usually move faster than a new custom design.

Documents

We hold a foreign trade operator registration and prepare the commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and any inspection documents the destination requires.

Tell us what you need

Call, e-mail or message us on WhatsApp. The more you tell us about the tape — type, size, colour, printing, quantity — the faster we can answer.
